El Segundo History Committee

Members of the Friends of the El Segundo Public Library who are dedicated to preserving El Segundo's past. The History Committee maintains historic collections--including photographs, documents, yearbooks, and other items--in the Library's History Room.

Appointments can also be made to see the historical collections by sending an email to the History Committee. We will make every effort to accommodate your visit!

El Segundo Photo Archives

An online selection of photographs from the earliest days of El Segundo up to the 1970s. These images represent a small portion of the photograph collection housed in the Library's History Room. Reprints can be ordered for private and research use.
