Instrumentalist Yuki Shibamoto will perform classical, popular and original music as part of the El Segundo Public Library’s celebration of National Library Week. Yuki’s FREE concert will take place on Saturday, April 13th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the library’s Reading Lounge on the main floor.
Yuki Shibamoto is a Los Angeles-based Japanese recorder player, who studyed under world-famous recorder player Minoru Yoshizawa for over 25 years. Yuki has won the gold prize in the solo artist category in the Japanese Nationwide Recorder Competition three times.
Yuki creates recorder music from subjects such as art, landscapes, people and sunlight. She collaborates with artists and galleries, and makes music videos as part of her own project "MUSIC from ART." You can learn more about her by viewing her website: https://www.yukirecordersounds.com/.
